*UPDATE 6/1/14 It's been nearly two years since the accident and three months since a settlement was reached and we are still waiting for court approval to move forward. The frustration has been intense for Trevor. It's a frightening feeling to have the family court system in control of your life. Trevor is receiving physical therapy for one hour five days a week. We work on his speech and O.T. goals at home. We pray he will have access to more rehabilitation soon. He is able to stand, bear weight and take steps with the aid of a walker and one person to provide balance! I know he will walk again and pray he will soon have the opportunity to move forward with access to the resources he needs. Thank you for your continued prayers and generous support. I can't imagine what life since September 4, 2012 would have been like without it.
The person that hit Trevor is a multiple drunk driver offender. May 20, 2012 a plea deal was reached (we wanted a trial). The driver received 25 years and made a guilty plea. He is eligible for parole in about 6 years, if my math is correct.
Please see the following links to learn more about the story and Trevor. Please use his story to spread the word about the devastating consequences of drinking and driving. One of his goals is to share his story with others to try and prevent this from happening to someone else.

His family could use all the help they can get. This donation site was set up to help them out. Please give whatever you can. Pennies, nickels, dimes, and dollars!! They all add up.
Thank you every one for all the love and support. The goal has been raised because you wonderful people have allowed us to. Keep the prayers coming, they are even more helpful.
