At the invitation of Dineh families, volunteer work crews from California, Colorado, and beyond will journey to Big Mountain/ Black Mesa, AZ in late November in support of continued Indigenous resistance to forced relocation policies and coal strip mining.
Work crews will bring supplies and support to families prior to the freezing winter months. Tasks will include cutting firewood, repairing structures and fences, distributing supplies, fixing roads and herding sheep.
This is a fundraiser for the purchase of tools, food, and other requested supplies that will be directly distributed to Diné families of Big Mountain/Black Mesa.
Thank you so much for your support!
