EverRibbon is a new, incredibly simple way to collect donations for your cause.
All you need to do to
start collecting money is to sign up here, and then create a ribbon. Anyone can then
donate to your cause with a credit card or bank account. Everribbon also lets you
manage your donation campaign and spread your message.

The best way to get started collecting donations is to reach out to people you know (friends, family, co-workers, etc) and ask them to either donate or share your ribbon page with others. Spreading your cause through your own personal network can be very powerful.

There is no cost or monthly fee for creating a page on EverRibbon. There is a 4.0% + 0.30 fee on all donations made. This fee goes toward paying for credit card processing and to help support EverRibbon.
To donate to a cause, go to any ribbon page and click on the big red 'Make a Donation' button. If you want to find causes to donate to you can look in the ribbon directory.
Yes. On your user profile, go to your privacy settings, and select "Don't show donations I make". This will make all donations made by you show up as coming from "Anonymous Donor". This applies retroactively as well.
EverRibbon uses the WePay API to manage money. At all times, your money is held by their FDIC-insured partner bank, The Bancorp Bank. Your money is never held in WePay's own accounts. Moreover, WePay will never use your money for its operating expenses or any other corporate purposes and will not voluntarily make your funds available to its creditors in the event of bankruptcy.
Money donated to your ribbon page goes into a WePay account automatically set up for you. Once donations clear (1-2 business days) you can deposit the money into your bank account or send yourself (or anyone else) a check for the money. For more instructions on how to get the money from your WePay account click on the 'get money' button on the red admin bar on your ribbon page.
Our payment processor, WePay, accepts international credit cards, so donors can come from anywhere. The person collecting donations on EverRibbon must have a valid US Social Security Number and US located bank account.
Only donations to a registered 501c3 are tax deductible. Most causes on EverRibbon are not registered 501c3 so it is likely that your donation is not tax deductible, especially if the donation recipient is an individual or family
